The facility contains over 17,000 square feet and is completely air conditioned and heated.

 

We have capability in excess of $5,000,000 annually with existing equipment.  We have floor space available for new equipment and would be willing to acquire additional equipment if necessary.

Plano Machine & Instrument, Inc. started business in 1967 and incorporated in 1968 in Plano, Texas by Mr. Frank O‘Dell. Our core business at that time was job shopping.

Plano Machine has established a solid history of integrity and a goal of zero defects. Our full time inspection department is separated from all manufacturing areas.  We have “specialized” quality control equipment including two Brown & Sharpe coordinate measuring machines with electronic probes and print out capabilities.  Our quality system in meeting the requirements of ISO-9001:2000 has all inspection equipment calibrated to meet the standards of MIL-STD-45662A.  All measurement standards are checked on an annual basis by an outside laboratory and those standards are traceable to the National Bureau of Standards.  We have a complete Quality Control Manual available upon request with all of the preceding procedures described in full.
