Plano Machine & Instrument, Inc. started business in 1967 and incorporated in 1968 in Plano, Texas by Mr. Frank O'Dell. Our core business at that time was job shopping.

Plano Machine has long been recognized for quality products, superior workmanship and customer oriented service. Thru a history of integrity and a goal of zero defects soon evolved into a World Class Manufacturing Technology Facility.

We have served the following industries with tooling and production services since 1968, with many cost saving ideas: energy, defense, electronic, medical, aerospace and transportation.

Plano Machine has "specialized" quality control equipment including a Zeiss Contura G2 RDS (CNC) Coordinate Measure Machine with electronic probe and print out capabilities. Our quality system has all inspection equipment calibrated to meet the standards of MIL-STD-45662A. All measurement standards are checked on an annual basis by an outside laboratory and those standards are traceable to the National Bureau of Standards.
